Robin Winkler-Pickett graduated magna cum laude from Hood in 1984 as an Honors Biology Graduate with a BA and double major in Biology and Mathematics. She returned to Hood and received an M.S. in Biomedical Science in 2007 and was named the Outstanding Graduate Student in Biomedical Science that year.
This May, she received her THIRD Hood College degree, an M.B.A. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Delta Mu Delta Honor Societies. For 30 years Robin has worked at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), doing scientific research and now serves as Scientific Operations Manager for one of the largest scientific programs at the Institute. She has co-authored over 40 publications and given presentations at national meetings. She was twice competitively selected to participate in Leadership training programs at the NCI.
